A prime USA Lucifer Hummingbird location was nearly lost to the birding community!

I came across the following alert about a favorite Lucifer Hummingbird birding location being shut down!
Fortunately, thanks to the letter/email writing campaign initiated by Jeff Gordon of the ABA, the Ash Canyon Bed and Breakfast is still open. There are just some new rules to follow, so check with them before you go!
Apparently, nefarious forces are conspiring to bar birders from Arizona’s Ash Canyon. The poor proprietor of the Ash Canyon Bed and Breakfast, the single best place to see Lucifer Hummingbirds in the U.S., may be denied a permit to keep her business open, which would be a blow to us all. I haven’t seen these hummingbirds or Arizona Woodpecker yet, so I need your help. We ALL need your help! Check out Jeff Gordon’s plea on the ABA Blog for details on how you can be heard.
Looks like the Lucifer Hummingbird will continue to be admired, photographed, and cherished at Mary Jo Ballator’s prime birding location!
